Who will I meet on each school stand?

A selection of the senior staff and in most cases the head teacher will be available on the stand - the key people to explain the ethos, vision and attributes of each school.

My child is already in a school, but not too happy, it this a good opportunity to come and chat with alternative schools?

Yes, absolutely, this is the opportunity to chat in anonymity and research alternatives.

How do I choose the right school?

It is a challenge! How to identify the "good ones" from the not so good ones. All the schools at the show provide a unique education with excellent teaching and talented staff dedicated to bringing out the best in their pupils.

There is a very right, and therefore conceivably wrong, choice to be made for each and every child and making the journey to the show will assist you in this most important of decisions. To this end, representatives from more than 100 of the UK’s leading independent schools will attend ISS 2009 be on hand to answer your questions and address your concerns.

For your added interest, our Education Theatre will provide visitors with a series of relevant presentations designed to give a unique insight into the salient issues and considerations surrounding school choice.

Can we bring our children along to the show?

Yes absolutely, this is very much encouraged. We believe children gain a good insight into each school at the show and should participate in the school selection process. We have London's best face painting team, activities and Halloween games to entertain the kids.

How long will we be at the show?

Most visitors spend a couple of hours making their way around the show visiting stands and short listing schools. It may be worth arranging appointments with schools of particular interest in advance, you can do this in our exhibiting schools section.

How much does it cost?

Entry to the show is free, providing you have registered in advance. The official show guide provides detailed information on each and every school at the show. The office school show guide is free and should be collected on arrival. Parking is also free.

Is there a list of exhibiting schools?

Can I find out about bursaries and funding at the show?

All schools have special and unique policies, and all information will be available from the individual school stands. Further information can be found in the show guide.

Is there food at the show?

Yes, cafe situated in the middle of the show serving a variety of fresh healthy food.
