Learning inspired by a spirit of adventure
Meoncross is a leading independent, co-educational day school for children aged 2.5 to 16 years based in Stubbington, Near Fareham, Hampshire. We provide all-through excellence from Nursery to Year 11, with small class sizes, talented teachers, high quality educational provision and a strong focus on personalised learning and wellbeing.
Meoncross is a place where learning is inspired by a spirit of adventure and our creative, intuitive approach yields superb academic and other results. Our students achieve well above national averages at all levels from KS1 to KS4 – including 2018 GCSE results more than double the national average.
There is a full programme of extra-curricular activities both on site and at local specialised facilities, as well as residential trips. Transport is available for students attending from the surrounding area.
Meoncross is only a mile from the Solent, a wildlife-rich, safe stretch of seawater and a beachcomber’s paradise. Where better to bring our children to learn in the fresh air, to connect with nature and enjoy this unique learning experience away from the classroom? Beach School learners become more knowledgeable, more empathetic and develop a deep respect and appreciation for nature and the world around us. This makes an impact on behaviour, making children more positive and motivated in their learning.
Meoncross School is proud to be part of the global Cognita family of schools. Cognita is an extraordinary group of diverse yet connected schools, spanning eight different countries. We share one common purpose: to create an inspiring world of education that builds self-belief and empowers individuals to succeed.
