Meoncross is an independent, co-educational school for children from Nursery through to GCSE, based in Stubbington, Near Fareham, Hampshire. We provide year-round care for younger children with our first-rate, on-site pre-school. Consistent GCSE pass rates of over 90 percent testify to the quality of teaching and preparation, and the choice of options is also wide. Meoncross is a place where learning is inspired by a spirit of adventure and our creative, intuitive approach yields superb academic and other results.Much of the school is housed in modern, purpose-built facilities, including a new hall which complements the original adapted mansion. Small classes and a dedicated teaching staff ensure that students' individual needs and talents are catered for, and there is a full programme of extra-curricular activities both on site and at local specialised facilities, as well as residential trips. Transport is available for students attending from the surrounding area.
Meoncross is only a mile from the Solent, a wildlife-rich, safe stretch of seawater and a beachcomber’s paradise. Where better to bring our children to learn in the fresh air, to connect with nature and enjoy this unique learning experience away from the classroom? Beach School learners become more knowledgeable, more empathetic and develop a deep respect and appreciation for nature and the world around us. This makes an impact on behaviour, making children more positive and motivated in their learning.
